How to Cook Creamy Mashed Potatoes in 15 Minutes

Mashed potatoes is a great side dish. It can be paired with steak, vegetables, pork chops and more. The problem is mashed potatoes usually take a lot of time and effort to prepare. In this post, we will show you how to make creamy mashed potatoes (without any electric tools at all) in just 15 minutes!

The serving size for this recipe is for 3 to 4 persons.

Ingredients

2 medium sized potatoes
2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 cup of fresh milk
1 1/2 tablespoon of butter (unsalted)
water

Procedure

1. Peel and chop potatoes into small cubes
2. Boil cubed potatoes with a pinch of salt for 15 min
3. Drain the water and place potatoes in a bowl
4. Mash the potatoes using spoon and fork
5. Melt the butter and mix it with the potatoes, also add desired amount of salt
6. While mixing, add milk gradually
7. Continue mixing until all ingredients are distributed
8. Serve with gravy if desired*

Note: Before taking out the potatoes, make sure they are soft enough to mash, use a fork to check. It depends on your preference, if you prefer soft and creamy, it is better to overcook and will be easier to mash.

2. Put chicken bouillon. Stir until dissolve
3. Add all purpose flour and mix until there are no more lumps
4. Add water and continuously stir
5. Add soy sauce and pepper
6. Serve hot and enjoy your homestyle gravy
